With over 6k items from our suppliers to choose from there’s a bit of narrowing down to do!
That’s why we have set up a link to our best sellers.
You will probably already have an idea of what you need. You wouldn’t expect your financial advisor to turn up to a meeting in a hoody & cargo trousers, but you might expect that of a painter & decorator? The key is dressing appropriately.
There’s a reason why polos and hoodies/sweatshirts are the most popular; they cover a huge range of businesses. You don’t have to detract away from them, but you might want to think about how you can stand out by using colours and styles; not only of the garments but also your logo.
Likewise, if you need specialist items like Hi-Viz or PPE you will have an idea of what classifications and colours you will need to use. If you are unsure of what regulations you need to cover, just ask us.
Take a look at your competitors, how do they dress? Chances are they are wearing the same things as you, so colour and garment styles are a great way to stand out.
Contrast items such as the Varsity Hoody or this GameGear Polo are great ways to add colour to make you stand out. They look even better if you can incorporate your brand/logo colours with the garment too.
The majority of our customers choose one colour garments, so that will give you an idea of what extent you could stand out from your competitors.
Or if you want single colour items think about logo positions.
Right chest logos also balance the front of the shirt nicely. Typically, these are where industry standard logos are placed such as Gas Safe or NICEIC. Or, having the name of the person is a nice additional touch if you want to convey a friendly approachable message to your customers.
You can break these down into 3 categories: Cotton, Polyester and Polycotton (a blend of both)
Cottons can often ‘feel’ nicer against the skin as people can be put off by polyester as it makes them feel ‘sweaty’.
Polyester is great if you need quick drying properties, either for washing or to wear in the summer months. We find some of the more physical professions now have a summer wardrobe comprising of poly garments to cope with the heat. Polyester also tends to last longer and more resistant to fading.
Polycottons cover all bases. You get feel of cotton against your skin as well as the quick drying properties of polyester.
We have noticed a recent trend for our customers to be asking for some items outside their usual uniform, and it makes sense.
Day to day they may wear polos and hoodies, but they now also ask for smart shirts and soft shell jackets ready for any networking meetings, quoting days etc for when they want to give that smarter impression.
Safety wear such as Hi-Viz clothing, footwear, gloves, etc is also an area some of our customers don’t realise they need until the last minute; so it’s always handy to have something in the wardrobe or bag just in case.
